Hello!
I'm new to doing all this sort of stuff, and I've been going at this problem for hours. I have the Huawei y536a1, otherwise known as the Fusion 3 GoPhone by AT&T.
My problem is that I accidentally uninstalled some software that I think caused my two buttons on the front, the home button and the button to the right of it, to stop working. As a result I've been trying to flash the factory .zip to get it back into proper working order, but it hasn't been working. It just aborts the installation after it unpacks the zip.
So far I can get into recovery mode using the U8833 recovery. I was wondering if using the U8833 Cyanogen mod would work on this phone.
Does anyone know the apps that govern those two buttons? Also does flashing a custom ROM void your service plan?
Thanks for looking!
