I've been trying to figure this out for a few days. I was on rooted 4.2 bootloader but flashed a badly named file from somewhere and am now stuck with the FNH7 bootloader :( I bought an unlock code after trying the dialer method and region lock away on a stock Metro 4.2 rom. The phone will not accept it and the screen for the code pops up at every boot to where the metro sim card won't even work. I tried flashing FNH7 from Keis and full reset and it still does it. It's at least on a Tmobile rom now as I read the methods I tried didn't work with Metro. But I also read that those methods didn't work on the metro rom. So I've tried a permissive kernel and a few different roms supposedly stock but none will get past the T-Mobile splash screen except the 4.4.4 one. I'm lost as I got the code from Metropcs and it was the same one I had bought but the phone just will not accept it and now I don't have Metro anymore so I lost my warranty I was paying monthly for.
So, can someone point me to help to get a working tmobile 4.2.2 stock rom with the dialer codes to try region lock away again as the official unlock code is a dud. I'm out of ideas and spent many hours trying to figure it out myself.
