Easy.....Long press on screen---->Widgets
Open Widget DIRECTIONS....do NOT type anything ....just CLOSE KEYBOARD and press CANCEL
Now open MAPS.apk.
I repeated these steps 4-5 times and now MAPS work directly from apk. without problems.
If not....repeat steps with DIRECTIONS Widget from above every time when you want to use MAPS.
If you want to navigate using MAPS.apk then open DIRECTIONS Widget and type desired direction.
I guarantee that works for my repack (b708 RePack BbN)
